Video of my 10" l7 and kx600.1

i have my L7's wired 1 ohm to a crappy logitech amp gettin like mayby 3-4 watts , but heres the thing, i can totally max out every setting on the computer with bass and crank it up almost 100% volume playing test tones and it rattles the entire house , but then when i goto play some music and turn it up past say 1/4 i start to hear a sound of like someone flicking a styrofoam cup on the bottom , but then i can go right back to test tones and it dosent do it at all
what is this? when i had like 1300 watts going to them they never did this, is it just becuase its such a clipped signal its bottoming out? is it even possible to bottom out with like 5 watts?
Let's not get started on your mishaps...........That's right, turn everything all the way up, and find out why it sounds like shit. They were 8 ohms also.

When did I clip my sub? I bought one of my Q's used and it had issues when I got it, that I didn't know about.
when you posted a video and everyone had to tell you the sub was bottoming out you could hear the coils hitting the backplate , this was on a video mind you, not even in person where it would sound 100x worse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The box was 1.6CUF and tuned to 44 HZ (Clearly not enough for the Q). Also that was the sub that I found out had a blown spider. That was definitely not on my end. Jeff4285 is the one I bought it from like that. Poorly packaged and everything straight from UPS.

Also, please don't try to say my setup is crap, because I run a JL amp.......Quit trying to jump on the band wagon. All I need is 1K w, and I wanted that at various ohm loads. I couldn't find a PG X1200.1, so I had no other alternative.

never said it was crap, i love JL products. just wondered why you did that and you answered. tight work

To the OP, I wasn't trying to shit on either of your setups, as I have had LOUD (2 Orion H2's on 2 JL 1000/1's in a Vented box 3.8^ @ 32HZ) and I now like my noise maker setup. To each his own.

My comment was towards Twiztid. I liked that SAZ1500D, but I had no intentions on running it @ 1 ohm even before I bought it. I have a BTL that I thought I might use, but I don't want to start the electrical upgrades in my current vehicle that would be required to get that thing moving.

Doesn't take a noob to make a mistake. Only one that is perfect at installing, is the one that has never done it.
Getting the power and ground backwards is a huge mistake, imo. Every time that I wire an amp up I tripple check my connects before I complete the circuit.
