*VIDEO* 2 cuft @ 28hz for a 10" Kicker L7

I was bored so I decided to make a video about the box I made a while back that I actually just started using since my project for the (2) RE MT 18's in 16cuft is on hold for a while.

It's 2cuft tuned to 28hz with 30sq.in. of port area.

I made this box using a "snake" port as some say, I loaded up a 10" kicker L7 wired in 2ohm that I had laying around into it and it sound's really sweet. In the past I've tested the kicker in a stander L-Slot port box that was 2.2 cuft @ 32hz and I have to say this "snake" port design thats tuned to 28hz sounds much better, surprisingly there is no port noise either. You can really feel the lows and it flexs the blazer pretty good considering I have a couple trunk kits of dynamat xtreme on the entire roof.

The sub can take alot of power(the amp gain is all the way down) I was pushing it to it to the point just before cone distortion.

SWEET! I got my l7s in 2.25 apiece with a real low tuning and they sure can drop a low note for 10s!

LOL, it's not - that thing would be toast if I fed it that much.

I've got the amp gain pretty much all the way down. Although I do see it handling what it is rated for which is around 600rms - 800rms without any issues. It cant take alot of abuse..... When I 1st set this lil 10 up I never changed my gain settings on the amp from when the RE MT 18 was on it.
