Old News. If you already have it you are grandfathered in. If they won't renew mine at the end of the contract I'll switch to Sprint or someone else that has unlimited.

At&t pulled the same with me when I upgraded.

I lost my unlimited even thought I told them I could be grandfathered in.

I called a few times but no one seemed to care.

They dont care about us. Pay them their money or find a new company is what I get from most carriers

Here's my question though. If you bought a cheap 4G phone off of ebay or CL while still having unlimited data, would you be grandfathered in when they make the switch?

And next week another company will offer unlimited data and customers will flock to them, then a year from now they will stop offering unlimited data and customers will run to the next company that offers it.

Old news. Its not when you upgrade its when you change your plan. Just upgraded my phone 2 weeks ago and still have unlimited data

Might be old news to you guys but I just saw it today. I've had Verizon for a total of like 7 years now. I'm by no means a fan. I switched to AT&T and Sprint, they both blow compared to Verizon in upstate NY (Sprint being the absolute worst).

Verizon had unlimited like a year ago here but then they did away with that just upgraded like a month ago and i still have my unlimited oh and ps dont buy the **** razr biggest piece of crap ive ever had!

I got unlimited with them a little over a year ago. Rooted phone and wifi tether by muller FTMFW

all I could ever get was unlimited text and pic messages. That is why I never got a smart phone.
