Vented Pole Peice/motor

is they're ann relevance to this as in terms of, keeping the driver a certain distance from the back of the box.. Sub is Atomic Apx, will this hinder air flow and coil cooling for comps, and will it diminish overall performance of the sub? What is the general rule of thumb in this situation!

I am sure someone who knows more will come in and correct me...but I thought the vented pole piece enhanced cooling?

usually with a sub that has a pole vent. I would keep it at least an inch or 1/2 the distance of the vent pole from the rear wall of the box.

If thats what your asking. You question was confusing.

yes that is exactly what i was asking, to see if the space between the back of the vent to rear of box, will affect performance of the sub
