Batcaps?

Whats the diffrence in this and a reg cap? Does it hook up like a cap or like a battery? Do they really work?

they are small batteries with a very low esr and capacity. being low capacity is not that good ...

well adding on to a weak electrical system will make it worse. the big 3 doesn't cost much regardless

going with something more spl based i would want more capacity. if your electrical is strong already and you just need something to fill in lets say a regulator gap a battcap is fine. play something that has alot of bass and causes alot of dimming in the long run a battery with a bigger capacity is best. thats why i like the kinetiks. people say xxxxx battery is better for a burp but if you do alot of different things day in and out with your stereo like parked listening , engine off listening, generally beating the snot out of your system then capacity is a big deal.

A lot depends on which model Bacap, too. The 100 and 400 are pretty much as described. Once you get to the 800 it's a little bit different and the big ones (don't remember the model numbers) are beasts.
