Vending Machines

Good for you sir.
I always thought about doing this for the hell of it, but didn't think it would be worth the time. I've had some acquaintances say that they lost money with the bigger machines, but mostly do to them not putting them in high enough trafficed areas.
Location is the most crucial point. If my work lets me put it in the break room I will be making good, good money. It's a big factory that employs hundreds of people.

Ahh ok, I have actually thought about trying to buy a route of those small ones myself. The big ones there is more $$$ but you also have a 500lb+ machine to lug around and even with my MMA gloves on I would need some help which means having to hire someone which takes from profit.
Do you have to give the business any profit?
Usually no. Especially if your machine has a charity slot. I forgot how he explained but the company gets some kind of tax deduction for having that machine.

the people you know are dumb //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
i know quite a few parents who get their kids a few machines and let them keep the profits after the machine is payed off

a girl i used to go to school with had two that her dad got her... she brought in nearly $600-$800 a month for doing nothing, it actually paid for her appartment

all she had to do was refill them when they were empty

also, she got teh snackz at sam's club/costco //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Yeah, one thing that is so nice about the investment is not just the money but how easy the money is. And you start making money from day 1.

Yea thats what I've been thinking about. Seems like everywhere is already taken up.
1. Open convenience store in hood

2. Sell the shit out of swisher sweets, cig. lighters, cheap smokes, crack smoking utensils, cheap liquor, and bulk chicken wings.

3. Now you have a nice place to put your vending machine.

Maybe throw some fresh cut slices of watermelon to sell...and I could see this making money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

Fvck yeah, what was I thinking.

I had a friend who had a store in the ghetto in Mobile Alabama and he said he made a killing off those items.

Make everything to where tou don't have to give out any change, for example;

Swishers...2 for 93 cent plus tax.

Or a 12 ounce cobra beer...47 cent plus tax

Lighters...47 cent plus tax

Single cigs...23 cent plus tax

Shit, you could go in there w/ a dollar even and get you a beer and two cigs for a dollar!

Or a beer and a sweet

Dude said he was banking $2500 plus a week

I can't believe I did it!! I landed a spot at a high school!!!11!

The pop machines there are 1.25 so that leaves the kids with lots of quarters for my machine. I will be vending peanut butter m&m's, gobstobbers(sp?) and nuts(gotta keep it somewhat healthy).

Win.

I wanted to do this with a pop machine... and I had the idea of developing a relationship with Metro Bus (Cincinnati Public Transit system)... and putting a machine at the busiest bus stops...

It's beyond me, but people who don't have enough money to even have their own personal transportation... seem to spend lots of money on stupid vending machines.

Eh?

Congrats.

I hope one day in the future, to have a few vending machines.

Just wondering, how long are you waiting to refill them, and collect the money?

You could try it with train stations, if there are any nearby.

Wow. I'd like to do that. But with my luck, I'd probably eat all the stuff I buy to go in the machines. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

It'd be nice to do in highschool, 'part time job' of sorts.
