Nice, care to share a little bit about how much the machine was and how it works when placing one in a location? Do you pay rent or a certain % to the location?
If I had a nickel for every time I heard a candybar dropping in the machine for some wide-eyed fatass over the last 8 years I would be a rich mofo.

and the price does not seem to matter, they raise it a nickel what seems to be once a month and they still flock to it like crazy.

I found a really good Deal. Brand new 3 section candy machine for 135$ shipped. I chose the color yellow because yellow is a nice happy color. There is lots of info like that on the internet when it comes to vending.

How you would ask to get a machine on location would go a little something like this. "Hello, my name is ThomasG and I'm looking to expand my vending route and would like to place a machine in your facility."

Also you can make one of the slots be for charity and get on the property rent free.

Just starting out small, y'know. Further on I plan to purchase Soda & Snack

machines.

Lets say 12 people put a quarter in this machine a day out of the hundreds that will be having access to it. Thats 3$ a day 3x30=90$ So after 2 months I've already made my money back and then some.

I ordered yesterday so It should be here next week. My current job is I weld for a factory. I'm going to try and put it in the break room. 95% of the people that work there are mexican. The plan is to go around asking them what is some good mexican candy. After my research is done I will buy some mexican candy in bulk.
Then they will be like omgz mexican candy?!? Horale way!

I always thought about doing this for the hell of it, but didn't think it would be worth the time. I've had some acquaintances say that they lost money with the bigger machines, but mostly do to them not putting them in high enough trafficed areas.

Ahh ok, I have actually thought about trying to buy a route of those small ones myself. The big ones there is more $$$ but you also have a 500lb+ machine to lug around and even with my MMA gloves on I would need some help which means having to hire someone which takes from profit.

Do you have to give the business any profit?

You shouldnt have to rent a space nor give a cut. Placing a soda machine in a business is actually a draw for them. Try tattoo shops. Every tattoo shop needs a soda machine. Keep the price reasonable, and the machine will actually draw people to the business. For a business like this, it's usually free to put your machine in there, but make sure you keep it stocked and working properly, or you'll get the call to get it out of there. You'd be amazed how many cans of soda are consumed at a tattoo shop, it's incredible.

i know quite a few parents who get their kids a few machines and let them keep the profits after the machine is payed off

a girl i used to go to school with had two that her dad got her... she brought in nearly $600-$800 a month for doing nothing, it actually paid for her appartment

all she had to do was refill them when they were empty
