Vending Machines

dude.. bad topic.. they just took my pop machine outta my shop. said it was doing less then a case a month so.. they took it..
i was actually going to steal it. they put it outside of my shop for pick up and it sat outside for over a week, and i was suprized no one stole it.. cause i was about to..

so now, i have NO pop machine in my shop.. sucks !!!
Lol well yea who else was buying anything from it besides you?

Does make a nice backup though haha. Wasn't a 12oz 60Cents:crap:

the vending machine at work is 70 cents for a ****en can of soda. So I brought in a minifridge and stock up on 3 12packs for $11
70 cents is still cheaper than gas stations charge around here for a single can. Although Wal-mart has the machines outside selling the .25 cent cans of grape, orange, and root beer soda. Can't beat that.

Yep they still have them, although they are usually sold out of half the kinds they sell in it. I guess they sell quite a few I know I always buy them when I leave Wal-Mart.

Most new pop machines are like $5,000 at least, but if you have a good location, you can make that back easily. You may look into ATMs too, that market hasn't been around as long as vending machines, you can get started with 3 machines for under $20k and a top performing machine can generate like $1000 a week, all you need is one really busy location.
ya my dad has a ATM machine in his gas station. and he gets 1 dollar every time someone uses it. we make at least 400 dollars a month off it. on a good month we get around 600.

Our Walmart pulled all of the outside soda machines except the Sams Cola one...they have 2 machines inside that sell canned Coke....at .75 each....also, Brookshires and Super1 ....2 local grocery stores owned by the same company, are getting rid of their machines....

I heard its because of electricity being so high.

Just bought my first machine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

I'm starting small but hopefully expand to around 20 machines. I live in a rural area so I'm staying small here. However, I'm moving to the city this year and that's when I will expand.

Nice, care to share a little bit about how much the machine was and how it works when placing one in a location? Do you pay rent or a certain % to the location?

If I had a nickel for every time I heard a candybar dropping in the machine for some wide-eyed fatass over the last 8 years I would be a rich mofo.

and the price does not seem to matter, they raise it a nickel what seems to be once a month and they still flock to it like crazy.

On that note when I forget a water at home I have to pay $1.75 for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

where is it located? what is your normal job?
I ordered yesterday so It should be here next week. My current job is I weld for a factory. I'm going to try and put it in the break room. 95% of the people that work there are mexican. The plan is to go around asking them what is some good mexican candy. After my research is done I will buy some mexican candy in bulk.

Then they will be like omgz mexican candy?!? Horale way!
