the deals helps very little when you hit 3 of the hottest clubs in Vegas and spend over 800$ in each one for a table and bottle

Went a few months ago for the first time and it was rad! Check out Holly Madisons' Peepshow in Planet Hollywood. Awesome show and great eye candy and wasn't too expensive. Go to dinner at Koi, also in Planet hollywood. Best sushi I've ever had. See the Lion exhibit in the MGM Grand. If you want to hit slots, Do the Wheel of fortune with the spinning wheel on top. I hit the airport one on the way out with 40 bucks and left with 240. Put twenty in at a time, bet max ALWAYS and once you hit 25 bucks or more, cash out and put the first 20 back in. That machine has great odds and has most over 100k winners of any slot machine in Vegas. Dont get the train pass, its a rip off and doesn't stop anywhere good. Use the cabs, they are a riot. Spend a good bit of time on Fremont street, don't miss it. Go there first actually as soon as its dark. Basically a huge block party. Do all of the rides on stratusphere, if you're man enough, but don't get lost around there, the neighborhood is sketchy. Increase your budget by a 1000 dollars before you go. Believe me, whatever your planning on taking won't be enough. Use the safe in your room and allocate money for each day and stay true to your limits. Buy drinks at the convenince stores or the grocery stores. Do not buy drinks on the strip except for Margaritaville in the Flamingo. Best bartenders, crazy fun atmosphere and tip well and they'll look out for you. Best view on the strip. Check out the stack of 1 MILLION dollars at Bisons. Get lost in the Belaggio, believe me, it's easy to do. Talk to strangers and make an *** of yourself and have fun!

WTF is the point of going to LV then?

Fountain show at the Belagio is worth checking out (as is their buffet). Always shows going on, but most looked pretty awful IMO. All the new casinos are worth checking out just for the scenery...everything is overr-the-top, but from what I hear gambling is better in the old Vegas casinos...lower priced table games and many with lower house edge.

Otherwise, plenty of hookers to be had, but you better know how to speak spanish if you deal with the guys handing out cards...

Also Hoover Dam is pretty close and worth renting a car to check out.
