VC question...

i was planning to buy the soundstream splx single coil, gonna power it using the mtx ta81001d so it can get 1000 watt at 2ohm... but unfortunately, i mistakenly bought the double coil sub...

1) is it ok to just wire the sub to just one of the VC so i can maintain the 2ohm?

2) running both VC will give me 1ohm and the amp will give out 1500watt, is it safe to give the SPLX 1500 watt for daily use?

do not wire it to 1 ohm. if it was advertised at one 2 ohm coil, send it back if you can. wiring 1 coil is not good.
