my insurance (anthem) covers it 100%. as said earlier it's cheaper than insuring a kid so the insurance company will gladly pay for it.
LOL Yeah, by STD's, I meant kids. A long while back I was reading on a topic Iceteebone was posting in, and he called his kid an STD in one of his posts.....I though it was hilarious. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifWhy does after having four stds make you want a vasectomy? O wait I might have just gotten the joke. Your kids are the stds?
Yeah, dunno....I've got Blue Shield PPO, I guess I just need to call em and see if they cover it. The should for what I'm paying them every month. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gifmy insurance (anthem) covers it 100%. as said earlier it's cheaper than insuring a kid so the insurance company will gladly pay for it.
You have a much better chance of having it covered on a PPO than you do HMO. That's +1 point for you. They only way to know though, is to call them. Even if I had the same carrier as you, I still wouldn't be able to tell you for sure because plans differ from state to state.Yeah, dunno....I've got Blue Shield PPO, I guess I just need to call em and see if they cover it. That sounds about what I expect it to be like when it happens.I had it done about a year ago. Frozen peas were my friend lol......3 days on the couch with some perc's and a bag of frozen peas and I was all good. Still after a year a little tenderness is still there but I have no new kiddies lol. Only took about 20 mins to do and my freakin dr was trying to explain what he was doing.....I told him to shut the hell up lol didn't want to know what he was doing just do it and make sure it's right.
Not too bad to be honest, I got more worked up at the thought of having it done than anything.
yeah even i dont want no more JR.s and shit. its unjustified! i hate my own self, i can just see how much you guys hate me !If not the forum might chip in to prevent future Kove's. jk:laugh:

yes, you have to get sperm counts before and after (take the wife to help!!) to be sure it was a successI've also heard from past 'victims' that you've gotta wait at LEAST 6 solid weeks before you can go releasing your clonetroopers into an unshielded taco......any truth to that?
Are you kidding. If you were a medical insurance company, what would you rather pay for? A cheapass vasectomy or the birth of a child. Trust me, med insurance would gladly pay all their adult male members to get vasectomys. That is a hefty assumption. I mean, unless everyone has the exact same insurance plan that you have and I just didn't know it.
LOL That's good stuff about the grampies getting a reversal for thier trophy spring chickens. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifFrom my experiences (I work in an outpatient surgery center), they're really no big deal as far as procedures go. Every guy that has had one done at my place has done just fine, no complaints. We actually get a lot of older guys getting vasovasectomys (reversals). I always get a kick out of it when a 60 year old guy comes in with his 25 year old girlfriend.
