Hi I recently got a pair of Rockford Fosgate Power HX2 RFR3112 12" subs in a box from a storage locker sale. I'm looking to sell them but not sure what they're worth.. From the investigating I've done they appear to be a discontinued but highly sought after sub. I see the MSRP on them was around $400 each in the early 2000's but I haven't found many for sale.. there was a pair on chicago craigslist for around $600 but beyond that I'm not sure of value..
They handle 1000w RMS each, 2000w peak. I tested them with my buddies amp and they work good, but it was only a 400w amp. One sub is missing the dust cap, but other than that they're in great shape. They came in a "Super Bass ProBox" dual 12" ported armored box. Seems like a nice box (that I have no use for) but I will probably sell that locally as I doubt anyone would want to pay shipping for that..
I was thinking about listing them on
ebay, but I would rather do a private sale instead since
ebay takes 10% plus fees..
