USX4065 :) cant wait

Hope this guy takes care of you. I almost snagged one of these after seeing your post originally because it matched my 800's but honestly I am not sure I am going to be able to use these 800's in my install. As much as I love them I am thinking about moving them to go in a different direction.

Yea he has like 200+ used amp sale feedbacks on his ebay and his rating is 100%

But he emailed me a prepaid shipping label and i dropped it off at Fedex. Hoping he will go ahead and ship me out one of the other 4065s but well see. Havnt gotten an email back about that one, still hoping im impressed by it once i get a fully functional one lol

Heard back from him just now. Says he has one other 4065 left he could mail tomorrow but its not as nice as the one he sent originally, so i could have that one or let him fix the one i just sent back.

I asked for a pic so i can see the difference in cosmetic shape. What you guys think, worth waiting to have a prettier amp? It does go under my seat so i dont care but resale may play a factor.

I don't personally think its a huge deal . Yes you will lose a little on resale but there are plenty of guys out there that don't mind a scratch here and there. I mean we are listening to these things more than looking. Some people get all wrapped up in the cosmetics. The only time the cosmetics really concern me with an amp is when it is so bad that you know it has been blatantly abused.

Thats essentially the thoughts im having, although ide still like to see a pic first. But as long as it doesn't look like it been tossed around ill prob tell him to send it on out. Plus usx4065s are a decade old, they been around the block a time or two lol gotta have some battle scars

Well if you ever sell it keep me in mind LOL. I just went to take pics of my usx800f's to post them up for sale and I couldn't bring myself to do it. Maybe I will snag one of these from that guy on ebay after all as it seems like he is willing to stand behind his product

Yea he seems to be a good guy, like i said hes sold over 200 of his amps on ebay with a 100% feedback. And all amps come with a 90 day defect free warranty. Paid my return shipping and offered to get the other out in the morning. Seems to be a legit dude, may send him my memphis PRD1000.1 instead of amp medics

His ebay auction says he has 3 left but he told me earlier he had 1. Which ever the case you'd better pull the trigger quick if you want one. Ill post pics of the other amp as they arrive tomorrow. The pics on the 1st post are of the amp i sent back

EDIT: i told him to go ahead and ship it, it just looks mostly like paint chips. Not really that much more dinged up then the 1st one, but it goes under my seat so i dont really care

That one doesnt look too bad, If i was you just take your time on deciding! Sometimes its worth the wait, oh by the way i couldnt believe i almost got rid of my USA4050 to you....i think i would have cried going to ship the thing.

I too run the us acoustics , but a usa4050 to my components with the deck setting flat and they sound amazing!

Lol it would of fit on the side on my box better! Yea im hoping its a nice warm sound, if so i prob wont ever sell it. Wasnt but 80bucks and having a good backup amp is always nice. Although im hoping to get my memphis pr4400 fixed tomorrow, then i can sell the db A5 and have solid front stage with solid backup.

I like my db and its been SUPER dependable. But i just want a cleaner/warmer sound
