USPS Shipping.

I had some items shipped to me through USPS, and one package has arrived, and sitting at the post office, the other hasn't as of yet. They were shipped at the same time, and by the same person. Does anyone have experience with USPS doing this? Does USPS do random screening on suspicious items? I haven't picked up the first package, yet, so there's a possibility that the other is there today.

i would call wherever the package is currently at and get an status on it. both shipped using the same method as well?

Yes, used the same method, same day, same time, was one right after another. I would call were the package was currently at, but USPS doesn't give great tracking. With that said, it's still saying it's being processed in the originating town, which I'm sure it can't be still there. I'm taking the code into the Post Office today, and seeing if the lady can locate it, a little bit better.

From experience, USPS will hold a package if it gets damaged or the box gets damaged. Not saying this is what happened, but something that happens. I had a guy ship me 2 subs, and I got one of them, but have yet to see the other one still now 3 months later. I dont think he shipped it out personally, but the receipt he shoed me says 2 packages. HE HAD NO INS. on the packages so........ The waiting game now!

yes they do that all the time. It pisses me off lol. I use usps priority mail quite a bit. Give it a day or so and it should show up. Heres the best part Ive shipped 2 packages on 2 different days to a guy and the package i sent the day after the first actually got there first. Tell me how that works...

Yea that same thing happened to me throught DHL, I had recieved one sub but they were both shipped at the same time. It turned out the driver couldnt find my house //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I had the same problem with DHL about finding places, since they're so small still, compared to others, they have a larger route for their drivers. I like them though, as the have VERY competitive prices (cheapest I've had). Also, they take VERY good care of the products I have shipped, and that have been shipped to me through them.

I ordered something 18 days ago and was shipped out Priority mail 16 days ago and still haven't got it yet. Lucky for me the seller was nice enough to send me a replacement and I got it within 2 days. Still don't know what happened with the first one. I have the confirmation number and it still says it has not been delivered.

Could be a return to sender. The lady told me they hold those for a while.

ok i have read that you did receive it but here are some reasons why things dont always arrive on time not in any order oh i'm a letter carrier btw.

1. seller lied about shipping date.

2. it was addressed wrong such as no apt # etc.

3.another route in said p.o received wrong package

4. some dumb carrier delivered it to wrong street(same house # different street)

5.it really did get lost

6. it went to wrong state(it can happen)

those are the most popular reasons but there are prolly 50 more
