I know the feeling man, I almost had to refund a customer his full install and product cost while in CA. He purchased all products from me, shipped them all to him a week and a half ahead of schedule using USPS, the package never made it there. While I was out there it came back to my house. They had no clue exactly where it was until it arrived at the sorting house of a address. Had so spend 140 and overnight it. 3 other customer packages I shipped out for their installs all made it though. never using USPS ever again for shipping.

usps is for sending basic mail. i never ship anything with usps anymore. they loose money every day that they are open. you think that usps really cares about your package. the last thing i send via usps i wrote "fragile" all over the box and then i gave it to the guy at the post office and asked that they try to use some care with it because there was fragile parts inside.. they said ok and proceeded to throw my package into their giant bins 15' away from them...they said, it has $50 insurance...parts inside were over the insurance cost. i was pissed, talked to a manager, they told me "thats how it is, just package it right and there will be no issues". i will never send anything via the USPS anymore. NOTHING. they ****...lesson learned. hope you get your stuff figured out.

how did you resolve it? did usps reimburse you or did jim send you a new item?

I luckily didn't lose anything and nothing got damaged since it was wire both times. I wish you the best of luck though brother.

LOL well at least the USPS actually delivers it to you unlike UPS who just huck it over a fence or leave it leaning up against your door in the ghetto. Always a good idea to insure it for the actual amount if you don't it's your own fault when you get screwed.
