using speaker wire

is it bad to use a larger speaker wire size? i'm going to run 600 watts to each of my subwoofers (2). is it okay to use 10 gauge or should i just stick with 12?

Larger cable, if it will fit into/onto the terminals you're wanting to wire it to, can't ever cause a problem outside of fitment issues.

10awg would be safer if it will fit like prowler said

10 gauge should be fine....im currently using 8awg i think on my sub to amp

I am using 12awg on my sub, but i think I am going to use 14awg for my comps. The 12 guage knukoncepts wire is huge, and I have a roll of 14awg ofc speaker cable that should be just fine for 100 watts per run to the doors for my comps. But you can't go wrong going bigger, it just may not be necesary
