Using both posts on an optima

Im using an optima yellowtop in my trunk to power my sub amp. Is it alright to use the top posts, and the GM side posts? This would just save me money from buying new terminals.

For example i would have the power wire from the battery up front fastened to top post on the optima, and the amp power wire fastened to the GM side post of the optima. same thing for the neg -.

I have god knows how many wires comming off both post, and it does save money.

if you got 'em, use 'em.

keep in mind if you ever get a new battery that's not an optima, you might have to do some minor rewiring.

I have been using both for over a year. It makes wiring much simpler IMO.
