I was reading an article about a guys setup that was using a 4 ch amp to run his front stage over a active crossover.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
Anyone know exactly how this is done? Does he bypass (not use) the passive x-overs and just run one ch to each speaker?
Example:
channels 1and 3 to tweets
channels 2 and 4 to mids?
do u run the mids bandpass or maybe at 80hz?
Im really interested in trying this with my Dyn 242's and a JL 300/4. The Dyn's are pwr hungry and I hear that going active will really get the most out of them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
