using 1/2 mdf experience?

I built 3 boxes now and always used .75 inch mdf for all of them, now I am building a system with lower power components older JBL's, will feed both of them with 800watts. What do u think?

some of the "better" pre-fabs use 5/8s

Box flex is your enemy, you should stick to 3/4 or if your gonna use 1/2 inch internally brace the shit out of it

we build a lot of boxes at work useing 1/2 inch, for lower power woofers. also braced. works fine.
