i would show up on those last couple of days just to make that manager mad.. were they telling u dont bother comiong those days or was he basically saying, "well ur scheduled to work these days but i dont want you to" . if its the latter i would show up and half-*** the job until they make u go home, then say, i want my paycheck now.

Well the main manager of the store is cool with me, but one of the assistant managers basically told me "well ur scheduled to work these days but i dont want you to".

Go to work and do a bad job? And who do you think pays for that bad job in the end, the paying customer. Right, screw over the customer. Then the customer comes onto a forum and posts his great "experience" and everyone starts on the store again when in reality we should be starting on NooB with a RS. What great advice you give.
