Don't run more power than the trucks electrical can handle

So are you saying not to use prefab boxes because they are easy enough to make or because the prefab are typically not to spec for a particular sub?

not to spec for subs. the subwoofer enclosure plays such a major role in the performance. Car audio isn't about what you have but the install application.

Well, that info might have saved me from buying this. 01-06 GM HD Crew Cab Behind The Seat Sub Box with Amp Space

As I am working with limited space, I was hoping this might work. Is this just simply a no go? I do use my rig for work so under seat storage is taken. Can I build something better that will still fit behind the seat. I am thinking two 10's.
