Usa 2000 Amp needs 300Amp fuse!!??

So I am getting a Usa2000 amp from a friend that requires a 300A fuse and (in the manual) AWG0000 wire. I don't see how its possible that i need that big of a wire....But honestly what do I need as far as the wire goes and where could I locate some. Ive found fuses and fuse blocks (that accept 1/0). Help please!

you should be fine with 1/0 wire and a 200 amp fuse

Since I already have 4 Gauge...Could I run another string of 4 to it?
