US Amps: Old School or New School???

I was thinking about doing a Soundsplinter RL-p 15 and maybe another one when i can afford another one... They have DVC 2ohm and DVC 4ohm rated for 600-700w RMS but can do 1000w daily

thats alot of us amps power lol... i have a old school 400 and 400x sittin in my garage waitin on a project to come some time soon... might sell one of them though to fund a 20.1. They are nice amps, usually when someone breaks down and trys them they end up stayin with them. Look at djgtsr..... that dood loves them so much i hear he is planning on having a usamps themed wedding...

Do you think that since the USA-2000 is an AB class amp that it wouldn't be as clean as a Class D amp???

AB is cleaner but D requires less power (more efficient). But the difference in how clean it is will not be noticable in a sub.

Well this is off topic but I've heard a Kenwood 2-channel amp power subs and it was gross... I mean there was nothing clean about it... like i said... Kenwood

Of course the install will make a huge difference on how clean it sounds.

Well, thanks for the response... now I can choose an amp for a good set-up... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
