US Acoustics class A/B amps are sadly hit or miss... I owned two USX 2080's, the first didnt have any noise issues and sounded great, but the first hot day of summer, it went into protection and never came out, that was after owning it all through fall and winter without problems. I figured it was just a fluke so I got a second one and this one was horribly noisey. I only paid I think $60 each so no huge deal. I said f-it and splurged on a nice eclipse amp, still going strong to this day. I also owned a USX-800D (class D sub amp), and never had a problem with it, great amp, granted it was not cheap and I wouldnt even consider it a budget amp, it was a tank, also still going strong to this day.
