US Acoustics vs. CDT vs. Phoenix Gold vs. Alpine

I need amps to power 1 JL 12W3v3 and either a set of Morel Dotech Components/CDT EF61fg Components/Focal 165V2UV Components.

Here are the options I'm considering:

Alpine PDX 1.600 & 4.150

Phoenix Gold Xenon X600.1 & X200.2

CDT SQA-4140L 4 Channel/800W & SQA-1600 1 Channel/600W

U.S. Acoustics USG2200: 2 Ch 1300 Watts Amplifier

U.S. Acoustics USG4125: 4 Ch 1000 Watts Amplifier

I'm new and researching the heck out of my purchase. Your guidance is appreciated!

I don't know about US Acoustics or CDT amps, but the Alpine PDX and the PG Xenon series are great amps. The Xenon series has better wiring options than the PDX amps.

I think the Xenon amps are similar to the JL "slash" amps in that they have regulated power and provide the same power throughout a range of resistances (1-4ohms, IIRC).

Still, my vote would go for a PDX.

pg xenons are good too, but i doubt you can anymore as they've been discountinued.

I love my pdx and they do same power at 2 and 4ohms. Get the alpines FTW

i'll be selling a x200.2 soon if you're interested, pm me if you want some pics.

i used to use the 200.2 and still use my 1200.1, great amps..1200.1 ****ed up due to user error while i was uninstalling it (i think?) and i sent it off to db-r, just got it back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif , but the 200.2 was always solid. let me know
