Urine Test (Must Read)

Do you think drugs addicts cant sell TVs and shit bought at walmart?
How much do you think it would cost to implement this system and administrate it?

Bureaucracies aren't cheap.
Actually, there is flexibility within the system to only allow them to purchase certain things. Booze for instance, cannot be purchased with an EBT card.

However, they can buy $35 steaks and sell them for $10.

I'm not trying to say this is the best way to go. And no I don't have any experience with the foster care system. But come on it's got to be better than living with a mom or dad who doesn't care about you cause all they think about is getting that next fix.
I do however believe there needs to be some sort of change implemented somewhere. Whether you think doing drugs or being drunk 24/7 is ok or not. You can't honestly believe that the taxpayers should pay for it. Theres just got to be a better way. I have no figures and I'm not going to google to look any up but I'd be willing to bet that kids in foster care have a much higher rate of living a succesful life than kids growing up in a home where their parents stay high all the time.

I'll be the first to admit though I have no experience at all in foster homes or anything like that. I wasn't trying to claim it was a great place but it surely can't be worse.

We already remove the children from the mega-bad situations.

You are advocating taking away the borderline kids from parents who are able to maintain well enough to avoid suspicion. This means the pot heads and the ones who probably aren't really that bad of parents when compared to a orphanage.

Exactly, and do you really want MORE people on welfare in walmart?

I've been there and I dont think they need any more.

dude i'm not saying its easy. its a ****ing problem because i dont want people getting my money and using it to get high. i do not want to fund their addictions.
Well too fukking bad, you have to fund a small portion of it to avoid an even bigger problem.

Get over it.

That is wal-mart and kroger's reputation. I do not shop there. I shop at publix and specialty stores to avoid them.
My point exactly. The last thing they would want is to add to this reputation and lose even more revenue.

What sort of rep did K-mart have back when you were growing up?

How is K-mart's financial situation today?

Think there is a connection between their reputation back then and their situation today?

Think other businesses might notice that?
