OK, so I am going to hook this sub and amp up tonight, because all the wires I had run before were 4 guage, so I don't have to run any new wire...just have to wire the sub and amp.

I have a pic of how I think the sub needs to be wired up to run off the Avionixx amp...I've got 8 guage (I believe) wire running from the positive of one side to the negative of the other side of the sub...this gives me a 4 ohm connection, correct?

Also, how tight does the wire need to be that is being run between each terminal on the sub...does it look tight enough to you?

Now, once that's mounted I need to run 2 wires. 1 from the negative terminal of the sub to the R- on the amp. And from the positive to the L+ of the amp...is it bridged at this point? Or are there different wires I need to run to actually bridge the two channels?

Then I need to run a 4 guage wire from the battery to the +12v of the amp, with a fuse that will be about 9" from the batter (is a 80 amp fuse enough)? Then run a wire from the ground to the GND of the amp?

How in the hell do I run the short antenna wire from the HU all the way back to the amp?

What would I run for the RCA jacks to the amp? I'd imagine that it would go to the L & R Line Input?

If you guys could help me with this it would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys!

If the sub is dual 2ohm VC, then that is a series circuit and it is wired correctly. Tightness is fine, I just taped my wire against the basket. Yes, that should be bridged on the amplifier, there should be writing on the terminals that informs you of where to put the wires inorder to bridge it. As for the remote amplifier turnon (blue wire for most of the HU's out there), you solder a small little wire on, and run it back to where the amps are. The RCA's you have right, they just plug in on the input jacks on the amp.

Well, I hope it's wired right, the sub that is...it's the E12A which is dual voice coil? And it's supposed to be wired to 4 ohms?

So I just need to pick up some real small wire for the remote wire? Would a telephone cord work?

Actually that was 8 gauge ground wire, it's not the wire I will be using to run the sub. Just using it for a visual so you can see how I had it wired. I have some 10 guage speaker wire here.

Well, thanks for all the help...I really appreciate it.
