yeah... i think that one's the crates fault....if anything is packaged well it won't break, no matter who the currier isI havent really seen any sub go to well when it has been packaged like that. IMO.
its ok the make a crate...as long as you secure the motor first, THEN the basketI'm sorry, but if you still try shipping a sub in a crate and thinking it'll be fine, you're a ****ing retard.End of story.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, most crates are too **** rigid for shipping. All of the force from a blow (dropping, kicking, etc.) is going to be directed right to the sub.
even then.its ok the make a crate...as long as you secure the motor first, THEN the basket
Tell me, when packaging a sub.Why does it even ****ing matter to do one before the other? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif If they're both secured while in transit, it doesn't really matter in what order you do it.its ok the make a crate...as long as you secure the motor first, THEN the basket
i didn't mean the order in particular, just the motor should be the first priority, then the basketTell me, when packaging a sub.Why does it even ****ing matter to do one before the other? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif If they're both secured while in transit, it doesn't really matter in what order you do it.
And ummm, hate to shoot down your plane. But how the **** do you intend on securing a motor to the crate?EVEN so, it's still a flawed design. How would have securing the motor have helped in this case? It wouldn't have. And even then, something will still break.Chances are this time it'd be the crate. And when that goes, so many other things can happen.
IMHO crates are just an all around bad idea for shipping large subs.
What about the packing peanuts? There is not one sign of actual cushioning in the box. Sorry bro.
