Ups ******* Sucks!!!! Ftl!!!!!!

Let me be another one to say ****ing ups SUCKS again!!!! I bought 2 18" Electro voice drivers for my HT setup, and I wake up this morning to find one... sitting completely ****ing soaked from the rain on my front doorstep. And the other one was ****ing stolen because the *** HOLE left it on the front porch. My porch is about 5 feet from the curb. You can literally OPEN my gate and touch the boxes. So now i have to figure out how to go about this? Im sure someone on here has had something stolen delivered by UPS before as well.... how do i go about it? Let me know guys!!

wow. Sounds like your UPS driver needs his eye dotted.

This happened to me once. The driver left something without knocking on my door. The item got rained on. Next day I flagged him down and gave him a piece of my mind. He told me he tried to ring the doorbell several times but noone answered the door. Newsflash!- I dont have a doorbel! so I knew he was lying.

After discussing the matter like two civilized adults, he now understands what to do when I am not home.

Tough situation dude... was the shipment insured? Was signature required?

call them up and file a claim.... does the one speaker work?

I'm not sure what they will do for you because the shipper did not ask for signing conformation from you or whatever its called.

Good luck with that, I'm in the middle of a claim right now with them. somehow they broke the basket off of one of my mojo 15's.

Shitty deal. I would call up ups and see what they have to say.

Are you sure the 2nd package was delivered? Did you check the tracking?

Were you home at the time?

I know you shouldnt have to, i mean you pay for delivery. But when I know im not going to be at home during the normal time of delivery I make them hold my package at their shipping center, espically when its somthing espensive. They will hold it for 3 days i believe. It just takes a phone call.

But i would call them about your wet and missing sub asap.

Yeah... I checked both of them. The First was left at 11:43 yesterday. Then he said he had come back at 4:30 to drop off the other one because he couldnt find it in his truck. After that he said "the other one was gone, so i figured someone was home to take it in." Mind you i live in an apartment building with 2 floors. So rules are NO LEAVING without sig. And what makes it EVEN worse, i work for ups and there pretty much saying **** YOU!!! AHHHHHH i hate this shit!!!

First off that sucks...

Second, what drivers were they?

Third, I have never had a UPS guy leave anything like that. Maybe it is just my UPS guys but if I'm not avalible to pick something up they will either run it out the next day or call me and let me know I can come pick it up...

I could run with 80 pounds. Maybe it was some huge dude that stole it. Who knows if he ran, maybe he just walked away all chilled out to avoid suspicion.

wow im glad my ups guy isnt like that he only drops my stuff off when someone awnsers the door otherwise he brings it back the next day what a great guy

i also think we need a shipping section for this kind of thing so everyone can complain about shitty shipping

I think everyone needs to start having delivery confirmation required on all of their shipments(THAT MEANS YOU GUYS. ALL OF YOU GUYS). I understand these drivers are on a schedule, but when the companies won't pay up for the driver's mistakes something needs to be done. I don't know if UPS is like FedEx, but the drivers at FedEx are not actually FedEx employees. They are independant contractors so if I have another problem, I'll complain to the route owner.

Edit: This ****ing *** bullshit of leaving my package a ******* street over at the wrong ****ing house on their poor excuse for a shitty front porch is lame. I have huge mother ****ing numbers on the front of my ****ing house. I wonder what the ****ing hell tits those are for!!!!!!!!!@#$%$%*(
