Upgrading system...

Hey all, first post here. I currenty have a 2005 12" alpine type R in a sealed enclosure powered by a Hifonics brutus BX1205D. I believe my amp has been discontinued. I want to either sell this setup and get a single JL w7, or get another 12 type R. Since I dont wanna spend too much $, and want best SQ, which would be better a w7 or another 12 R (how does 1 12W7 compare to 2 12 type R's)? Also, if I get another type R, would 2 12" type R's be much louder than just one? And if i get another type R, wouldi t be better to just use the same amp but wire it down to 1ohm for 1200watts (thats how much the amp handles) or would it be better to get another amp with the new sub, making 2 amps and 2 subs? thanks for any help.

sql=type r spl=w7 so if u want sound quality get another type r with a 1200 watt amp or so

port them and you will be amazed at the output compared to one sealed
