upgrading my door speakers...

i have an 01 ford f150 supercrew with annoying-every-note-distorts-even-when-tuned factory door speakers. the factory door speakers are 6x8s. i'm planning to buy 4 new door speakers and run them off the factory head unit, no amp. i've narrowed it down to 2 sets of speakers. crutchfield says they'll fit, although i'm still unsure.

front stage:

JL Audio TR 525-cxi (5.25 inches) vs Polk audio DB521 (5.25 inches)

rear stage:

JL Audio TR570-CXI (5x7/6x8 inches) vs Polk Audio DB571 (5x7 inches)

You can fit 6-1/2's in front.These are very good.I would spend more in front and less in back.MM6 - Polk Audio 6.5" Momo Competition Component Set

they'll fit the factory mount? or would i need to make/buy a bracket?

make a mount using thin MDF for backing 100% silicone calking to seal it up completely. cut out larger 6.5" holes it will be well worth it, and if your decent at working with metal make your other holes 6x9 because it will open up oppurtunity of different product. id personally go with the JL, all the polk ive heard has never been as impressive as ive been told
