upgrading from juggarnaut

i had a jugg based hybrid and it was effing loud. louder then the 2 15's i have now. 3000 watts and your jug will smoke. about 2000 and i could get mind to move P2P...

^^^^ I agree, lately I have seen so many change out freaks it isn't funny! One thing you have to consider is that it may not be compatable with your enclosure. Curious, how long and how much port area does that T-line have. I was told in the past that T-lines are good for loud clean bass but are not SPL orientated due to the fact the length of the port is a restriction in itself. Maybe some pictures are in order? I dont think he is going to gain much if anything just doing a sub swap. Give us the box specs, or its net volume and tuned at what? To keep the same box you need to find a sub that best fits that box size (sub that plays best in the volume you have) or its time to upgrade to a different box (which you dont want to do) I know first hand the 95 subs are SICK! So is the jugg didnt HEAR to the ear much difference, but you swap to a pair and its like light and day, either way you look at it you will probably need more power to get where you want to be, and thats not much battery power for a system of that caliber you need battery power to keep your voltage up so your amp performs as you want it to...

i cant say anything about the box, because i dont know the specs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif

edit: its tuned to around 36 hz

i just know its a really REALLY good box , properly designed , 45* angles and flared port, very nice

also i have a factory 130 amp alt with a nice size bat under the hood and the hc600 in the back, and i dont get dimming at all, im pretty sure my electrical is fine, but ive been thinkin of pickin up a 260 ho alt, because i know the sundowns like higher voltage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

i suppose ill stick to feeding it more power, i just know it fried before off 3kw, so i dont want to put to much power to

Tline box dont have volume bro.He says it is tuned to 36hz,1130/36=31.388/4=7.84' and I am guessing that port area is the same as the subs sd.

Dude I also remembered that in a Tline box, when u dont build it based on the FS of the sub and just tune it to what u want (36hz) u are suppose to USE bass boost centered on that hz.From what I have to told Tlines are very effincent,so power may not be the issue, just play around with some tuning. Also when I seen tline boxs the are tuned 40hz+ but the still can play low.

Try raising the tuning 2 or 3 hertz at a time with the same box volume. Eventually

you will find a sweet spot with increased output for your particular vehicle...alot of building and testing...somewhere between what the box is tuned to now, and say 45 hertz or so:yumyum:

build and test...build and test, what works on paper isn't always applicable in the feild.

edit: t-line...son of a biatch!!!

I'm confused. How on earth did you fit a 15" t-line in your car? What kind of vehicle is this in? Even high-tuned quarter-wave lines are huge.

well this thread came back from the dead

The more important question isn't being asked here. How much for the Jugg? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
300+ ship?

very carefully... thats why if you read the first post, the box wont be comming out... we will have to cut the box into pieces to remove it, or put a sawzall to the metal behind the rear seats to allow enough room for removal

vehicle is a 3g taurus/sable... really big trunk
