Upgrading from cde 9813. Need suggestions

Hi all,

I'm having issues with my headunit as it doesn't turn on if I press the power button. I have to press the volume knob hard for it to turn on it that works sometimes. Also another issue is that it gives me the Christmas light like it wants to turn on but doesn't. It basically work 50% of the time. I'm not sure if it's a issue with the HU or electrical.

What's the best hu that I can purchase at this time. I want to play xm.

What do you guys think about the 9835 or the 9887 decks from alpine. I want to play xm and great sq. Lmk

I went from a 9811 to a 9835 and I love it, don't think i'll be upgrading anytime soon

as for the issue you're having with your deck remove the faceplate and look at the copper conductive dots they be dusty and cause it to work intermittently

if you have the remote try it as well
