UPgrading Avic N-2 Map disc question

If I update to the newest map disc that the n-3 uses.... does anyone know if it will disable the mod I made on my N-2 to input addresses while I drive?

Just like if you updated your map disc from the avic n-1 to the n-2 disc, it disabled all the n-1s that were modified.
