Upgrade?

I currently have 2 12" Kenwood Subwoofers, not sure on exact ones, but have "tornado" shape in cones, 300w, 8 ohms, sealed. I have them running off an old JBL 600 GTO bridged with them at 4 ohms. Are Soundstream 12" Rubicons and upgrade in SQ/SPL? I can get em for real cheap if its worth it, also, either of these subs suitable for ported enclosures? TIA

i've heard good things about soundstream. i doubt you could go wrong. if you can get them cheap then go for it and try it out

Cool, thanks, my only worry is that I have only heard things about how great their "tarantula" line subs are , never heard anything about these, anyway, i guess i will try them and see, anybody else have experience with Rubicons?? TIA
