I am currently running two Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1's in sealed boxes at 325w each. They sound good, but not as loud as I would like. They are being powered by an Alpine MRD-M605 running at 650w rms @ 2ohm.
I was wondering if the system would be louder but maintain good sound quality if I went with a single 10 running dvq using all 650w I can throw at it? It would have to stay in the sealed box and I don't have room for an amp with a larger footprint. It is going in a 300zx tt so it is a hatch, the subs are facing up, and I have 7.5" of mouting depth.
