Upgrade from eclipse 8445?

I've had the HU for about 2yrs now and I mainly got it of course for the 8v outs. I was thinking maybe it was about time for a change but is there anything out there that even comes close for audio options or should I just keep it cause of the volts? Maybe a older pioneer 80prs or something? I use to have a 880prs and loved it but the eject stop working.

The eclipse is probably better than 80prs imo. The 880 is a closer battle

I was looking some more and even yeah the 880prs I would get again or even the Alpine 9835 even? I think having TA on it would be a big plus since the one on the eclipse isn't good at all.

I don't know if you are looking at new or used, but there are a couple of Eclipse CD5000 head units on Ebay currently. Both BIN for about $200, one has a best offer attached to it. These are 8V heads units. Or so I first thought, but if you look at the PDF manual, it says they are 5V. However, I can't imagine a company, especially one such as Eclipse, would literally put 8V on the face of the unit when it was only 5V.

I love the 8V Eclipses. I use an old Eclipse CD8051. It has a very high quality feel to it, the display shines in the daylight, and plays MP3 CDs and WMA burnt CDs(it is not supposed to do either, but does) and can't imagine using anything other than an 8V Eclipse, dead-head unit.

I'd seriously look at those Eclipses on Ebay. I know they're used, but I once purchased an Eclipse 55040 there and used it for a good 5-6 years with flawless playback.
