Upfiring Trunk Setup Myth???

I'm thinking about putting 2 15's in my new setup but...

Someone told me if i upfired my subs in my trunk its going to warp the trunk lid. He said it happened to his friends trunk.

Is this common or does he just not know wtf hes talking about?

One more question:

How much EXTRA pressure if any is there going to be on the trunk if any at all vs rear firing?

Contemplating if i want to have rear firing or up firing (2)15's with aeroports

ok, if your firing your sub to the back or upward, u will have more trunk rattle...and it's hard to get rid of fully...i'm runing my sub up and port forward in my car....i think i'm going to build a box, sub forward port forward, so i can see if it's louder...BUT i have yet to have my trunk warp.

Thanks for the input. I've actually tried sub forward port forward and it defiantly effects the output. Not near as loud as firing back at least for my car.
