Update on Car...

yea so today the claims adjuster called my mom and said they gave the OK to fix the car.

$14,500 to fix it.

all new parts from nissan direct.

should take 2 weeks to get parts, 1 to fix. thats what they said last week when my dad stopped by....not exactly sure on that though.

this means ill have it for like the last week of school which is ok i guess.

still not sure how the car will run, itll have an entire new drivers side (doors, both fenders)

so if my dad says i have to keep it, my summer goal is to stack up, sell my system (already have buyer $1300) and upgrade to ridiculous (IMO).

Whats your payoff (if you have a loan)?

If its close, I would fight them to write it off as totaled because it will never drive the same (or be worth a spit later on if you sell it).

the call for what??? to find out how much, or after the fact that they totaled it??

they called me 4 days after my accident with the claim, then last week, i get the call that they totaled it.... my claims adjuster was very nice, but the people at the collision shop, thats another story...

Mine was 7 g's to fix and its been like 3 weeks. 1 week to fix you should have laughed at him. its going to be well over a month before its fixed esp. with how much damage was done.

well my dad went by and they had doors, fenders off and thats all thats really damage i think. then the bolt with rear wheel.....

car was worth about 24K the guy said....

shit

that little hyundai sonata cost 13K to fix!!!!!

it needed airbags front bumper and fenders!!!!

that **** car is barely worth that.

mine has a good gap between value and cost to fix.

its an actual dealership body shop doing the work so i dont think it should take that long.

my dad isnt sure whether we will keep it or not, he thinks since its new parts from nissan itll be ok, but we'll see.

i heard you can trade=in a car with it not there, like describe it or what not, my cousin did it when he traded his crap celica for his 300....

not sure we'll see.

oh and it happened last sunday, and they have ok to fix it now, claims adjuster was a fool and never returned calls, he knows im in High school and only called when i was in school.....

finally talked to them and now its good i gues....

yea well that dealer must not have used it....

his whole front end was burned (someone did it)

and they replaced his entire front end motor and all....

olddd body style celica and he got 3k for it.

car would be worth 3k before that incident.....

not sure we'll see.

sad part is, you'll never really know how good the Mags are and what they can do because you were using your factory head unit. they arent sold yet, but the person is waiting on my word.

i want this job so i can do highs and HU, then comes upgrades bass wise....

gotta get some more money for the slc 265kicks + alpine w200.

some ppl say that upgrading HU wont make that much of a difference, but then i heard it can even add up to 3dBs in some cases.....

and this kid i know that had 2 12" memphis PRs, comes to me today saying he just got 2 12" MOJO's and is gonna run the same 1100watt memphis amp (i think thats the right power)

so i may have to upgrade b/c of our friendly competition!
