Someone else had this problem, but I could not find it in the search.

blue colored tool bar under the bar for the web address, called regshopeclock.

Downloaded a few programs and it's still not gone.

Is it a blue search bar with a few buttons to the right of the search field that change ?

when you look at the list of programs running (control+alt+delete) does it show up as a seperate program or is it just not there?

you can use the toolbar options of explorer to remove it

Oh, I forgot that you should also be able to remove it by clicking on View>Toolbars> then selecting the toolbar you want gone ...

Just get you a peice of vinal tape and stick over it. Thats what I do to my company laptop to keep from having to look at the current stock price at the upper left hand corner of the screen while logged in. It works.

Go to Ad Remove programs and look for something called window searching, It will ask you for a verification number to be typed in to make sure you are a human and not a computer program which must be why ad-aware could not find it type in the displayed number and kiss that anoying blue search bar good-bye. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
