I'm not bringing this thread back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Just watched it yesterday. In my opinion, it showed how unprepared the nation was on handling the problem as it unfolded. I am not saying this is a bad thing, though the lack thereof did prove to be fatal. I highly believe that protocol and clearance for engagement have changed since then. Even if the nation was more prepared, who's to say that it would have been foiled?
The story of how the passengers tried to regain control was only like the last half hour of the movie; prior to that it showed what was going on behind the scenes at the FAA, various control towers, and some military site.
I can't see why you would refuse to see it. Granted, you can't just sit there and act like it's just a fictional 'movie', but to me, it's just the same as reading about slavery in your history books. It happened, and this is the story (more or less depending on the fact/fiction basis). Though I don't see why you would refuse to watch it, I am not implying that you are obligated into watching it.
