Unique Auto - Half A** work?

Well I was watching Unique Whips or whatever its called on SpeedTV and the one guy (forgot his name) was fired when he told the head guy that his work is half as$'d

So I watched the rest of the show and in conclusion I agree with the guy that got fired

Point 1: They were working on a "custom" escalade and they put on Dynomax exhaust (ok so im not a big fan of dynomax) but then they bolted the exhaust system up

Are you fkn kidding me a custom car and it isnt even welded up

Point 2: They use Armor-All products and think there good, well anyone who knows anything knows Armor-All is shat and dries out the Leather in cars (I imagine it dries out the tires too) because it pulls the oils out.

This proves they know nothing about cars.

I haven't watched the show in quite some time, but when I did, the work was mediocre compared to other high end shops out there, while maintaining a higher price tag then most.

They use Armor-all because that is one of the show's sponsors. They do shotty work, but then again so do alot of custom shops. they just do really expensive shotty work for rich stupid *** celebs and millionaires.

about the exhaust. What do you mean bolted? You know some shops are using clamps and that sealant instead of welding and gaskets.

Yeah, there was a thread about the F650, and Unique Auto Sports. The only things I saw wrong with the F650 was the T.V. was blocked by half of the cabinet that it retracted into (extremely shitty job), and they had 1x4's showing instead of covering them like they should have been. Obviously most of the people like the work they do, or else he wouldn't have had a T.V. show about his shop. Since that T.V. show has aired, there have been A LOT more complaints, and A LOT more **** ups, and instead of fixing them, they leave them. Will Castro is a great business man, how many business owners do you see that can relate to most of their clientel, and have them coming back to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on their car's, just because of the relationship they have with that particular business/owner? I agree they're not the best ever, but I also have to defend them because they obviously please their customers, for the most part.
