Underpowered?

Alright. I was bored the other day and was reading the manual to my Pioneer head unit I just put in. It says connect speakers of 50w or more. I have some Boston S85's in the front and back, and they are 35w each. If I go buy some 50w speakers, will they be able to go louder and stay clear?

the headunit most likely do 22rms not 50w.

No, you will not notice a difference unless there is a massive difference between the speakers' efficiency ratings.

And your HU puts out ~22wrms, that 50w is a max rating.
