finished covering the box today ............

wrapping the corners for the panels :

just glued them and stapled them for extra strength (because no body will see them ):

you firing that port back? i have an 07 civic with 2 10's in an Obcon GZ box that fire out sideways. i noticed that i'm much louder with half of my back seat down than with both of my seats up. do you have any opening into the cab from the trunk? have you tried it with the port pointing forward? i would think it would be much louder.

Made new terminals for the bottom of the box (so all the wiring is kept int the spare tire wheel well) and a support that helps support the spider web :

Oh oh, what happend to your polks?

One of my friend has two pairs of polk momo tweeters and two pairs of polk momo comps in his double cab truck. He never had any problem with them....

long story short......... i was tuning my system and was playing around with a couple test tones ( sweeps, etc) and i forgot or didnt know that they were recorded at 0 db. and i guess the mix of constant frequencies and them being recorded at 0 db (most songs are recorded around -6db) caused major clipping.........

i can make my system sound good to me. but i was just trying to got the extra step and kind of understand all the frequencies and adjust everything from flat rather than using a preset eq. i was also trying to find some more door panel vibrations : (

But the good news is i kind of wanted to try some new comps, and i just ordered some MOREL TEMPO 6's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif which i hear are outstanding speakers for the price.

What's Up Baby Bird! Pix look nice and sorry to hear about the Polks...now No mo da Momos!! Any ways, I had a long day at the farm...I tell you laterz... I can probably help wrap the Spider Web on Tuesday if you can wait that long...just beware of the "CANE SPIDER!!!"

just wanted to give a little update........not much has been done in the past couple weeks ( been working alot)

But i did however get the web glued down:

and i have ordered a variety of different car audio things to help me get the sound i want. Including an Arc audio IDX/XEQ Crossover/eq combo, SS rattle pad, SS Luxury Liner Pro, SS speaker tweaker kit, and some morel Tempo 6 comps ( only thing that has come in yet ) :

expect new pics as things arrive ; )

this build will take a while do to that im working around my work schedule , as well as a couple of my friends schedules. If we didnt work.......... this project would be done already lol.
