Under/overpower subs in certain enclosures?

i have rf t1000bdcp and rf t212d4, not in it to compete or to see how loud it gets, just for me and my son's personal enjoyment. does this set-up qualify as junk?

Its not junk if it works as advertised. Does it work as advertised? Those amps are solid, the subs are ok but not the best. if you paid retail for them then they are not OK. But junk? No

got the amp for 300, new and the sub for 400, also new. they do what they are supposed to do. i'm pleased with them. might need to upgrade alt.

wouldnt overpower a sub unless you know what you are doing. and underpowering will never blow a sub. refer to AH siggy.

oh i dont disagree with you lol thats for sure. i feel dumb buying my memphis cm, i loved it, but **** way to much money for the knowledge i have now.
