I agree with helping our veterans, but that help has to stop somewhere. We are, after all, a free society where people are free to make their own choices. The flip side to that is we are also free to live with the consequences of our choices, good or bad. Health care, yes our vets should get the best we can afford them for any injuries or physical/mental illness they received while serving their nation during war. But beyond that, they are still free citizens who must make their way in society. Nobody promised them a free ride the rest of their lives for signing up for the armed services.
