unactivating alarm

Does it have remote start? If so it should start anyways without being unarmed.

If it doesnt have remote start you will have to take out the starter kill relay and connect the starter wire back together.

A lot of remote starts still have a starter kill //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Try pullling the fuse, but this will only work if the starter kill relay is set up as normally closed, if not you may have to resolder the starter wire back together, or rearrange the plugs on the relay, if its a seperate bosch style relay.

the issue is i can not get the remote to work. I tried the pushing the valet button twice (holding it the second time and pressing lock on the remote but this didnt work. It is not recognizing the remote, so, all this time i been turning on the car using the valet button but its annoying cause the alarm goes off. Iwanted to just basically disconnect the alarm till i can figure out how to fix the remote issue.

Yes I am quite aware of that but it will still start the car with the remote //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

As stated check the remote battery or it could just be broken. Did you buy it yourself or did it come with the car?

I am not sure if your starter kill is normally open or closed but i would hope for the sake of security it is normally open so pulling the fuse will not work.

In that case you can either hook the starter wire back together by taking the relay back out or take it to a shop and have them figure out why your remote isnt working.

I do apologize for judging what you are aware of, but what u said above is that most alarms with remote starts should start while armed. Which isnt true. Unless somehow you were referring to be able to remote start while armed, but it doesnt look like thats what you meant.
