Update: VIDS on pg. 5

Its that time again.....time to plannnnn BIGGGGG

After many phone calls, and talking with a bunch of companies, making tough decisions on what was gonna be available at a good price....ive come to it.

4 Mach5 SPL12s and 4 AQ2200s @ 1ohm

For now im testing out 1 SPL12 and 2 AQs @ .5, seeing what happens with that and score

Big thanks to Mark with Mach5 and DJ at AQ for all my annoying random questions haha

But....the UH OH factory..... Now youd think a sub as beefy as the SPL , the owner would ship them in , ummm idk...A CRATEEEE....that way UPS couldnt damage them no matter how hard they tried.....but:

So yeh.....long story short, this one is brokdedd....coil rubbbing from what looks like being dropped from the top of the truck onto STEELLL.

I cant believe they found a way to break this, i mean, its shipped IN A CRATE....IN STYROFOAM....IN AN OUTER BOX

They had to tryyy to do this honestly

Replacement should be here sometime later this week hopefully, and i have a comp Sat to test it out.

They are F'ing stronggg

And a small footprint.

Im trying to get them metered right now , but my initial though is that 2 are stronger than 40.1, now if you look at the ratings youd say well yes its supposed to be.....but we all know how underrated the 40.1 was

But ill see.

Do they come with the holes in them from the factory like that? Wouldnt the air coming from the holes make some annoying noises?

those aq2200ds are alot stronger then i thought they were. clamped a buddies doing 1500 watts with rise from 1 to 2.xx andvoltage from 14.5 to 13.xx not bad in my eyes.not for the price
