Ok I have a 01 Saturn l300 over the last few day I have been installing my amps sub and radio. Today I get all my wires ran and connected, powerhouse everything up no sound! What gives I have my speaker wire ran to to my factory harness plug location so I am figureing that with out the head unit there must be a factory amp not getting a signal or some thing. What do you guys suggest I do right now I have no radio at all please help.

Well I check power at the amp in the remote wire and the second batt. And power is there no protect lights however I used a AA battery to check the door the door speakers and that produced no sound. Which leads me to believe there is a factory and blocking the signal from my amp. Gonna splice in at the door and see what happens hopefully that solves the problem is there a better way to do this?

Ok just tried to start my car and its dead thankfully I unhooked the system batt. And was able to reconnect and get it started turns out since the remote lead on my radio is bad I hooked it into the constant 12v source instead of acc. Got sorted out now looking for info on a amp trigger wire for my car

Ok got it sorted out tonight had to splice into the speaker wire under the dash. Sounds ok but has static in the drivers door tweeter definately needs a speaker upgrade thinking about Dayton mids and highs not sure.
