ugh. Im such a pansy. Got back in the gym today....

you don't need to get on the gear to get up to 165lbs lol.

Just keep working out for more than 2 weeks, you aren't gonna gain 15lb/week. try for 1-2 lbs/week. Keep eating and doing compound lifts.

PS: most workout supplements are BS and a waste of money

Read OP, didn't look anywhere else but potato (as long as not fried) is a good carb. People can live off of potatoes (not that I'd recommend but some preacher did for 45 days)

Congrats on starting the routine back up, you'll thank yourself 15yrs down the road.

I have read alot on message boards. I have been on them for the past 8 years. Just because Im not over 200 pounds, doesnt mean someone cant do a cycle. I think its more about age than how much you way. I even had one of my doctors tell me that, although he doesnt condone it, he wouldnt be upset if I didnt do it, giving my situation. My accident was 4 years ago. My right dominate leg is so much smaller than my left. I have issues that my body doesnt allow me to work out like when I was a teenager or pre-accident.

I know how to eat, I know how to work out. I help train my friends. I know my stuff. Trust me, I wouldnt do it if it wasnt a last resort kinda thing. If done right, and I have read, learned and know what is right, its ok, in moderation.

I'm not saying that doing a cycle is bad, just unnecessary for your goals. Did you say you worked out for 2 weeks then got sick in the OP? That is simply just not enough time to get the results you want.

I wouldn't worry about changing up things, you just need to be consistent for a bit. I tend to have the same problems

I have worked out since my accident and I can never gain any weight. The weight and muscle I gained back was just my body bouncing back from losing 55 pounds in a month. I have been working out for a while, just took a break from it. Im back in the gym for a little over a month now, but took a little time off due to the worse cough and congestion I have ever had. I wouldnt do it right now. Id wait for a good solid 3 months before I did it. My muscles will be well loosened up by then and Ill have the routine down. It doesnt take long for me to get in the rhythm. I have never been able to really gain weight. Only time I have really packed on muscle was when I did a cycle. I have done a full cycle my first time and two short cycles after that. The last two got shortened once because my grandma died and it really disrupted my routine because I had to travel and deal with family and the other, well, lets just say it was an even more liable reason than than that. I'm glad I have done them. Everytime I have done them, its helped. Now I have obviously loss the weight after getting off the cycle. Thats the thing that my body is slowly learning. My PCT is right, I follow it well. I just tend to get burnt out after working out for a solid year. I just kinda stop. I'm gonna really try to keep working out atleast a couple times a week after I get off a cycle, when that point comes. I got a Bowflex and Powerblocks in my media room. I just need to get ramped up to that point and loose this gut that I never thought I'd have. Its tough to eat eat eat eat, not able to do any cardio due to my body now, try and gain muscle and lose my gut at the same time. Something has to go. Lose the gut or pack on muscle. I need the muscle more than my gut. I can't eat clean. I wont gain any weight at all. I even lose weight if I dont eat enough

Benching isn't everything...deadlift and overhead (military) press is where it's at...

Also, pull ups. I know an ass ton of people that do tons of pressing but no pulling. There's guys that can bench 300 but can't do a single pull up.

I normally dont max out on bench. I have always sucked at it. 215 was the most I ever got up. I hadn't maxed out in probably 5 years. I cant do deadlift or anything that has to do with weight on my legs. Kinda have to keep it to leg curls and leg extensions. I wont do military press bc I dont want to fuck up my shoulders. I have the blessing of having all of my close friends that are 4-12 years older than me. I have learned from their experiences.

All I see from you is cant cant cant. Stop crying and feeling sorry for yourself. DO work son. And AAS isnt the answer. i wont tell you not to do it but you can achieve your goals without them. And please edit your post trying to sell that ****.

Accident in 06. Back surgery. back to benching 460, squatting 6, and deadlifting 7, all raw. Its all in your head. Put in the work and you will see the results.
